This is not a government office or records custodian. We operate a private reference service. We cannot obtain records, certify copies, confirm occupancy, or remove a person from a government roll or database. Direct those requests to the office that holds the record. For an emergency, call 911. If you are being stalked or harassed, contact local police.
Finding the Right Records Custodian
These are practical routes for common West Windsor record questions:
- A named street or parcel: use the West Windsor street directory route
- Older directory volumes or a past household: consult the West Windsor city directory collections
- One identified person: use the West Windsor resident lookup workflow
- Office roles and public portals: see the West Windsor records offices
- A record not online: send a precise request under the New Jersey Open Public Records Act to the actual custodian
West Windsor Township Clerk and Records Custodian: 271 Clarksville Road, West Windsor, NJ 08550; 609-799-2400; Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Clerk is the municipal records route for Township-created minutes, contracts, licenses, and a specific OPRA request. The Township identifies Allison D. Sheehan as its records custodian and asks requesters to use the current form and email route.
Mercer County Clerk, Land Records: 209 South Broad Street, Trenton, NJ 08608; public-records room hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Wednesday hours to 6:45 p.m. Indexing and Imaging is 609-989-6476. The County Clerk holds the recorded land-document route; it is not the custodian of every Township record.
